Family Matters

When a poor, overprotective father refuses to let her daughter marry a poor young man, he underestimates just how determined he is. Humiliated and shut out, the young man disappears from their lives - only to return months later completely transformed. Reinventing himself as a polished, wealthy bachelor, he wins the father's approval and sweeps the daughter off her feet. What no one knows is that his new identity is a carefully crafted illusion.
