Suspect

After a judge's suicide and his secretary's murder, a homeless deaf-mute man is arrested. His public defender, Kathleen, is assigned to the case. Believing him innocent, she secretly teams up with a juror who is a congressional advisor. Together they investigate the crime, leading them into a web of high-level corruption that threatens their own lives as they race to find the truth before the verdict is read.
