Joyeux Noel (Merry Christmas)

During World War I in December 1914, soldiers on the Western Front lay down their arms for an unofficial Christmas truce. French, Scottish, and German troops leave their trenches to meet in No Man's Land, sharing gifts, songs, and even a game of soccer. This remarkable true story explores the shared humanity of enemies who find a fleeting brotherhood, an act of peace their superiors will not tolerate, challenging the very nature of war.
