Yildiz

Amidst her parents' constant arguments, a young Turkish-Dutch girl named Yildiz seeks solace. After seeing a message about God, she secretly visits a church, praying for a peaceful home. However, her interest in taking communion enrages her mother, causing Yildiz to retreat into a fantasy world. In this safe space, she imagines herself as a powerful, shining star, just as her name suggests, watching over everyone from above.
