Mia Madre

Filmmaker Margherita is in crisis. As she directs a movie starring a temperamental American actor, her personal life unravels. She grapples with her brilliant mother's terminal illness, her teenage daughter's rebellious phase, and her own self doubt. The narrative blurs the line between her stressful reality, memories of her mother, and anxious dreams, creating a poignant portrait of loss, family, and the challenge of holding everything together.
