A Song Is Born

To avoid testifying against her gangster boyfriend, nightclub singer Honey Swanson takes refuge at a music research foundation staffed by seven nerdy bachelor professors. As she introduces the sheltered academics to the worlds of jazz, swing, and romance, she finds herself falling for the group's awkward leader, Professor Frisbee. Their budding relationship is threatened when her dangerous ex returns to force her into marriage, leading to a comical and musical showdown.
