Tracker

An Afrikaner Boer War veteran immigrates to New Zealand and is hired to track a Māori man accused of killing a soldier. During the intense manhunt through the wilderness, the tracker captures his fugitive but learns he is innocent. Faced with a moral dilemma and his own past trauma at the hands of the British, he helps the man escape, culminating in a final confrontation where justice is served in his own way.
