The Planet of Junior Brown

Junior Brown is a musically gifted but obese teen whose aspirations are crushed by his abusive mother, who cuts his piano strings. He finds refuge with his friend Buddy and a janitor who creates a haven for homeless youths. As Junior's home life becomes more unbearable and his mental health declines, he struggles to find his own place in a world that doesn't understand him. The film is a poignant exploration of friendship, mental illness, and finding hope in bleak circumstances.
