The Miner's Son

In a small UK mining town during the turbulent 1984 miners' strike, a group of friends form a rock band, Black Diamond, as their only hope for a different future. Their dreams seem within reach when they meet Derry Knight, a supposed record producer who promises them a recording contract and fame in London. Duped by his charm, the band scrapes together the money for the deal, only to discover he is a conman. The fallout threatens to destroy their band and friendships forever.
