We live again

On a jury, nobleman Dmitri Nekhlyudov discovers the defendant, Katusha, is a woman he ruined years prior. Overcome with guilt for her descent into crime, he fights her wrongful conviction for murder. When legal appeals fail and she is sentenced to Siberia, he gives away his possessions and follows her, asking for her forgiveness and hand in marriage. His journey is one of moral reformation, seeking to undo the past and find a new life with her.
