Out of liberty

In the winter of 1839, Liberty, Missouri jailer Samuel Tillery is tasked with guarding Joseph Smith and his followers. The men are imprisoned on false charges of treason, facing an angry mob and an "extermination order" from the governor. Tillery finds himself caught between the law and his conscience. As the prisoners' faith endures amidst harsh conditions and failed legal proceedings, Tillery ultimately helps them escape, choosing his own form of justice.
