All We Had

On the brink of homelessness, 15 year old Ruthie and her troubled mother Rita live out of their car, drifting from town to town. When their car breaks down, they are taken in by the owner of a local diner. They find a makeshift family, including a kind transgender waitress, but their newfound stability is threatened by a financial crisis, addiction, and Rita's poor decisions, forcing them to confront their volatile relationship.
