The film follows two separate but parallel stories of two women, Anna and Em. Both are lonely and live rich inner lives, seemingly unconnected. However, as the narrative unfolds, it becomes clear they share a strong bond in both the real and spiritual realms. Though they never physically meet, their paths cross in a strange and unusual way, leading the younger woman, Em, to a transformative new attitude towards her life and existence.
