Cockeyed: Gems from the Memory of a Nutty Cameraman

This 1925 black and white silent short film presents a surreal vision of New York City. A group of friends discovers an ancient relic that bestows upon them extraordinary supernatural powers. Through innovative techniques like double exposure, the film visualizes their strange new reality, transforming the urban landscape of skyscrapers, trains, and bridges into an experimental, dreamlike spectacle captured by a self proclaimed nutty cameraman.
