The Epic of Everest

This film is the official record of the 1924 British Mount Everest expedition. It documents the perilous journey of climbers George Mallory and Andrew Irvine as they make their fateful attempt to be the first to reach the summit. Filmed by Captain John Noel under extreme conditions using specially adapted cameras, the documentary captures the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and the dramatic, high stakes adventure of early mountaineering.
