The Viking

In the 11th century, Viking leader Leif Ericsson converts to Christianity and sets out from Norway to explore new lands beyond Greenland. During the perilous voyage, he must contend with the fears of his crew, who believe they might sail off the edge of the world. He also vies for the affection of Helga, creating a rivalry with his companions. Further conflict awaits in Greenland, where his father, Eric the Red, fiercely rejects Leif's new faith.
