Master of the House

Victor Frandsen is a domestic tyrant who treats his wife, Ida, like a slave. When she suffers a nervous breakdown, her mother takes her away to recover. In her absence, Victor's childhood nanny, Mads, assumes control of the house. She enforces a new regime, compelling Victor to perform domestic chores and understand the value of his wife's work. Through this harsh education, he undergoes a moral transformation, learning to appreciate his family and change for the better.
