Fantasmagorie

Created by Émile Cohl in 1908, Fantasmagorie is widely celebrated as the world's first fully animated film. This French short uses hand drawn animation to bring a stick figure clown to life. The film lacks a structured narrative, instead presenting a dreamlike sequence of surreal events.
