The Adventures of Prince Achmed

Based on 'One Thousand and One Nights', this 1926 German silhouette animation tells a classic tale of good versus evil. A handsome prince rides a flying horse to faraway lands, befriends a witch, meets Aladdin, and battles powerful demons and a wicked sorcerer. He must overcome these magical threats to win the love of a beautiful princess. It is the earliest surviving animated feature film, a landmark of fantasy and adventure cinema.
