Scream, Queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street

This documentary chronicles the life of actor Mark Patton, the star of 'A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge'. It explores the film's infamous homoerotic subtext and how, at the height of the AIDS crisis and Hollywood homophobia, this "gayest horror film" effectively ended his career. Patton recounts his personal and professional struggles, his disappearance from the public eye, and his eventual re-emergence as a celebrated "scream queen" and LGBTQ activist.
