The Burying Party

Haunted by his experiences, poet Wilfred Owen is treated for shell shock where he meets and is mentored by fellow poet Siegfried Sassoon. Against Sassoon's advice, Owen chooses to return to the front lines in France. Driven by a need to bear witness to the conflict's brutality, he is determined to capture the 'pity of war' in his poetry, a decision that seals his fate and cements his literary legacy.
