After a small town earthquake unleashes ancient parasites, a young trans filmmaker named Sophie realizes she is the only one who can sense the creatures as they possess the most fearful and bigoted residents. Inspired by a lost film from a past trans director, Sophie and her friends become vigilantes to stop the parasitic infection from spreading, battling both literal monsters and the horrors of social prejudice in a meta infused dark comedy.
