After escaping a demonic backwoods cult, Katie tries to find redemption by working at a care facility for adults with special needs. She grows attached to Stephanie, a resident with Down syndrome, who begins to fall mysteriously ill. Convinced that the cult's devils are coming for the innocent girl, Katie resorts to the same dark rituals she once fled in a desperate, terrifying attempt to save her, blurring the line between protector and persecutor.
