The Scarlet Pimpernel

In the throes of the French Revolution's Reign of Terror, English nobleman Sir Percy Blakeney lives a double life. By day, he is a foppish aristocrat, but by night, he is the daring Scarlet Pimpernel, saving French nobles from the guillotine. His secret is threatened when he marries the beautiful Marguerite St. Just, whose past connections to the revolutionary regime and the relentless Citizen Chauvelin place his dangerous mission at risk.
