Lovedolls Superstar

This 1980s Super-8 cult film chronicles the chaotic journey of the Lovedolls, a fictitious all-girl punk band. Filmed guerrilla style in Los Angeles, it depicts their rise, fall, and bizarre resurrection. Band member Patch Kelley becomes a religious cult leader, rescuing a bandmate from a boozy life. The movie, an antithesis to mainstream cinema, features music from iconic bands like Sonic Youth and the Dead Kennedys, capturing the raw energy of the punk scene.
