Mother Holly

Based on the classic Grimm fairytale, this story follows two stepsisters. One, a kind and diligent girl named Rosemarie, falls down a well into the magical realm of Mother Holly, who controls the snow. For her hard work, Rosemarie is showered in gold. Her lazy and vain sister, Elsie-Marie, becomes jealous and tries to replicate the journey. However, her laziness displeases Mother Holly, and instead of gold, she is covered in a coating of pitch that she can never remove.
