The Voice of Merrill

After a convicted female blackmailer is found murdered, suspicion falls on three men: her publisher, an acclaimed author, and a struggling writer. The author's wife, trapped in a loveless marriage, begins an affair with the young writer and hatches a scheme to advance his career using her husband's work. This web of love, ambition, and deceit becomes increasingly tangled as Scotland Yard's investigation closes in, culminating in a climactic radio broadcast intended to reveal the killer.
