The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things

Adapted from J.T. Leroy's novel, the film follows Jeremiah, a young boy raised by his unstable mother Sarah, a drifting truck-stop prostitute. Shuttled between foster care, strict grandparents, and life on the road, he grows up amid drugs, violence, and predators, witnessing a harsh, chaotic world through a child's eyes.
