Stand!

In 1919 Winnipeg, Ukrainian immigrant Stefan falls for his Jewish suffragette neighbor, Rebecca, creating a modern Romeo and Juliet story. Facing discrimination and slave wages, they find themselves in the middle of a city wide workers' strike. As returned soldiers clash with immigrants and a manipulative lawyer pits everyone against each other, the community must decide whether to stand together for a better life in this inspirational musical drama.
