The Surgeon of the Rusty Knife

Based on a true story, this film follows Jose Arigo, a simple Brazilian man who discovers he can perform miraculous surgeries by channeling the spirit of a deceased German doctor. While he heals thousands of people and gains notoriety as a spiritual healer, his unconventional methods put him in direct conflict with the established medical community and the Catholic church, leading to legal persecution. It is a story of faith, spirituality, and conviction against overwhelming odds.
