The Ghost of Piramida

Indie rock band Efterklang travels to the abandoned Soviet mining town of Piramida on Spitsbergen. They explore the decaying utopia, recording found sounds from the environment and artifacts. Through the memories of a former resident, the documentary captures the haunting atmosphere of this arctic ghost town and the band's unique creative process of turning its echoes into music.
