An American Candidate

This satirical documentary chronicles the challenging journey of an average American who decides to run for Congress on a third party ticket. With no campaign funds, he faces off against the powerful incumbent, Dick Gephardt. Through the lens of an immigrant's perspective, the film explores why third parties struggle to succeed in the American political landscape and humorously questions the suitability of some candidates for public office.
