Flowers and A Lap of Rose

This Indian arthouse romance drama delves into the introspective world of an aging poet. A brief romantic encounter with a young woman ignites a profound, obsessive quest for meaning. The film masterfully blurs the lines between imagination, memory, and reality, as the protagonist grapples with existential questions of love, dreams, and identity. Through poetic dialogue, a lyrical atmosphere, and ambient music, it offers a deep, emotional meditation within the independent cinema tradition.
