Following his wife's death, Gavin reveals to his daughter, Victoria, that he is gay and has lived a lie throughout his 35-year marriage. This confession, driven by his self-realization and his late wife's encouragement to live authentically, shatters Victoria's perception of her father and her family. The film explores Gavin's lifelong struggle with identity, the secrets kept, the pain of repression, and the profound impact of truth on family bonds, as Victoria grapples with the revelation.
