Quartet

In 1920s Paris, Marya Zelli is left penniless when her art-dealer husband, Stephan, is jailed for theft. She accepts refuge with a wealthy, eccentric couple, H.J. and Lois Heidler. Marya is soon drawn into their toxic world, beginning an affair with H.J. and enduring psychological manipulation from both. When Stephan is released, the volatile quartet of relationships implodes, leading to betrayal and despair, leaving Marya utterly alone and broken.
