Submergence

A chance encounter in France sparks a whirlwind romance between Danielle, a marine biologist, and James, a British spy. Their love deepens, but they are soon separated by their demanding and dangerous careers. As Danielle prepares for a perilous submersible dive to the Atlantic ocean floor to study the origins of life, James is sent to Somalia. There, he is captured by terrorists, leaving them both in isolated, life-threatening situations, connected only by their memories.
