Adopting Audrey

Audrey, feeling adrift and disconnected, impulsively decides to put herself up for adult adoption. She connects with a family whose patriarch, Otto, is a grumpy, retired engineer. As Audrey tries to integrate into their lives, she forms an unexpected and meaningful bond with the curmudgeonly Otto, leading both to confront their pasts and find a sense of belonging. The film is a quirky, heartfelt dramedy about the unconventional ways we create family. Aka Porcupine.
