They Made Me a Criminal

They Made Me a Criminal is the intense story of Johnnie Bradfield (John Garfield), a boxer mistakenly charged with murder. On the run in Arizona, he hides out in a work farm for juvenile delinquents. He adjusts to his new life, but a quick-witted New York detective (Claude Rains) is on his trail and getting closer. Featuring a case that includes Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, and the original Dead End Kids, this gritty tale was directed by the legendary Busby Berkeley!
