The General

Buster Keaton's comedy about a railroad engineer's battle with union spies is considered one of the greatest films of all time. Co-written and co-directed by Keaton, its breakneck chase scenes are as riveting as anything ever put on the silver screen. Keaton always mentioned this movie as his favorite, and we can still see why. Also starring Marion Mack as Buster's beloved, though some might say he loves his locomotive more than the girl!
