Hannibal

After making his historic crossing of the Alps with elephants, Hannibal is poised to overtake Rome. During his advance, he captures Sylvia, the niece of Roman Senator Fabius Maximus. Hoping that her testimony of his military strength will reach his enemies, he shows her his powerful army and herds of elephants, then sets her free. Yet his action also has unintended consequences: Sylvia becomes infatuated with Hannibal, threatening to undermine his entire conquest.
