The Shadow Strikes

Lamont Cranston, better known as The Shadow, uses all of his wiles to halt the robbery of an attorney's office in this suspenseful crime drama from Hollywood's Poverty Row. Rod La Rocque (Meet John Doe, The Hunchback of Notre Dame) portrayed The Shadow twice for Grand National Pictures, and though he didn't match the fame of Orson Welles' radio version of the Shadow series, he'll go down in history as the first actor to play the mysterious crime buster in a feature film.
