Death Valley

A love story and a search for gold in the Valley of Death! Dubbed simple, powerful and dramatic by the New York Times on the date of its release, Death Valley is indeed an elegant depiction of love and deception in the American desert during the Gold Rush. In what was to be the final film of famed silent film director Paul Powell (Polyanna), a cast of mostly unknown actors produces uniformly excellent work.
