Doll Face

Burlesque queen Doll Face Carroll (Vivian Blaine) is dismissed from a Broadway show because she's considered crude. Her manager suggests she get some publicity by writing her memoirs, but the ghost writer he hires to help has more on his mind than writing books. With a cast that includes Dennis O'Keefe, Perry Como, and Carmen Miranda, this little jewel from director Lewis Seiler (Charlie Chan in Paris) was based on a play by the burlesque legend, Gypsy Rose Lee.
