Hoosier Schoolboy

It's a classic Hollywood story - a schoolteacher comes to a new town and finds nothing but trouble. But rather than the urban edge of Blackboard Jungle or Up the Down Staircase, this tale takes place in a country setting where a milk strike has caused heated feelings among the local dairy farmers. Add to this a troubled boy (Mickey Rooney) struggling with his shell-shocked war veteran dad, and you have the ingredients for a touching tale. It's one of the best films ever from Monogram Pictures!
