The Essex Boys Tapes

This found footage film about the Essex boys, set around Pat Tate's release and murder, is a character-driven piece with strong performances and a realistic tone. Unlike ultra-violent films like Rise of the Foot soldier or Bonded by Blood, it offers a unique, indie perspective. While it may not appeal to everyone, it stands out among Essex boys movies with its effective gimmick and intriguing insights for those well-versed in the case.
