A wealthy family strives to give their son everything he wants, but he begins to associate with friends who engage in theft. The son commits the terrible act of killing his own godfather and his father discovers a gun in his possession. It is then that he realizes that his son is responsible for the murder. Despite the pain this causes him, the father makes the difficult decision to hand his son over to the authorities to answer for his actions.
