The Headless Horseman

Will Rogers stars in this silent adaptation of Washington Irving's famous tale. Rogers plays Ichabod Crane, the schoolteacher who comes to Sleepy Hollow and upsets the villagers. Will the legendary headless horseman help the locals get rid of this pesky newcomer? Shot in the actual Hudson Valley locations where Irving' s story took place, using advanced photography for its time, this is a great example of classic American storytelling. (BW)
