The Scarecrows

In late 2013, Zina and Djo, in their twenties, return to Tunisia after being sequestered and raped in Syria. They seek help from Nadia, a lawyer, and Dora, a doctor, as they struggle with trauma, societal pressure, and personal fears. Nadia, also representing a persecuted homosexual named Driss, hopes their interactions will aid in healing and self-acceptance.
