My Big Phat Hip Hop Family

Audrey, a music student at a Midwestern university, comes from a family of performers including a 70s funk/RB group, a rap star, and a fashion icon. She dislikes the music scene and prefers arts, culture, and academia. Audrey hides her family from her new boyfriend, a rising hip-hop star, until they arrive in town, causing chaos at her university. The story blends elements of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Parent Trap, and The Wedding Singer.
