Matas and Jernimo have known each other since childhood, but their friendship takes a new turn during a summer holiday before starting high school, when both awaken to their sexuality. Matas's father indirectly separates them by accepting a job far away. Over ten years later, Matas returns to his hometown for a carnival with his girlfriend and unexpectedly reunites with Jernimo. Old feelings slowly resurface and build to a climax but at what cost?
